Michael Cleves Jackson, 47, dies

Michael Cleves Jackson, 47, of Red Lake, Minnesota, died of a heart attack on September 28, 2016.
Mike was born on September 20, 1969 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was raised in Ely and Winton, Minnesota, graduating from Ely Memorial High School. Mike was a U.S Navy veteran serving aboard the USS Nimitz. Mike spent a good share of his adult life traveling throughout the United States, making many friends. He loved fishing. Mike is survived by his partner, Charlene Mason of Red Lake; parents Terry and Anne Jackson; brother Tim Jackson; sister Carrie Jackson (Chad Yost); Uncle Den Jackson (Bev); Aunt Mame Jackson; Uncle Mark Hoerauf (Karen); Aunt Mary Turner (Tim) and many cousins.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, October 22 at 10 a.m. in the Winton Community Church followed by lunch at the Longbranch Clubhouse in Winton. All are invited to share in this celebration of Mike’s life.
